Proverbs 6:6-8 CSB. Go to the ant, you slacker!; observe it’s ways, and be wise. without leader, administrator or ruler. It prepares it’s food in summer. It gathers it’s food in the harvest.

This is the starting point for all human beings within the kingdom of God, work which translates to harvest. In this scripture we are being referred to an ant that is so strategic when it comes to it’s provision. It knows the time to gather and it knows the time to prepare it’s food that will translate to harvest for gathering. This because it has mastered the cycles of being. It doesn’t need a leader to guide it nor does it need an administrator to administer it’s provision. It uses the wisdom of an ant. Isn’t that amazing! Here we are being referred to the wisdom of an ant, as the ones who were given dominion in every way above even that ant. Purely because somehow, laziness has overtaken humanity so much that they have to be referred to the wisdom of an ant. This laziness is so subtle because it comes in different forms, and it’s main contributor being attitude.

Exodus 34:21 You are to labor [work] six days but you must rest on the seventh day; you must even rest during plowing and harvesting times.

The Israelites while in the wilderness, were told to collect manna for a day for 5 days, but on the 6th day they had to collect double for both 6th and 7th day, even preparation thereof. God blessed and hallowed the 7th day, He declared it a day of rest from normal labor. If we continue reading we see that in the 7th day He declared a fast to Israel. During this fast, He required them to do works of charity; to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke. mhhhh! Then for six days they could go about their business. When this day is dedicated to do the good works of the Lord, He promised His glory to follow them; to hear their cry; to guide their paths; that this one day’s work would qualify as work of righteousness and that work would go before them, they would ride in the heights of the land and eat of the inheritance of Jacob (Is 58). Just one day’s work! So, if we say Jesus is the Sabbath [the Lord of the Sabbath] and the very same Jesus lives in us, what does that say about us? First and foremost, that teaches us that the Sabbath takes care of our needs, only in response to how we treat the Sabbath. Then it tells us that, our work in itself cannot yield anything, but the respect and observance of the Sabbath ensures that whatever work we do, will lead to a harvest. We don’t even need to put aside a day now to do the good works listed in Isaiah 58 and showcased by Jesus. The Lord of the Sabbath Himself did this good work everyday of the week. Therefore, so can we.

The ant does it’s preparation in summer, a season known to be wet and therefore, makes it easy for the ground to absorb the seed. As the water falls on the ground more regularly, the germination process becomes more fruitful. In this case planting is done once and only tilling thereafter applies until harvest time, which is a season after summer. Then harvesting time, it gathers and eat from such until it can plant again and harvest. We have adopted a method of working like elephants and reaping like ants purely because we have our priorities upside down. Neither do we at least have a day set aside to do good works, nor do we contribute to a mission dedicated to do these good works. Instead, seven days of the week we go about our business to take care of our own desires. Yet, Sabbath is the spiritual summer given to all humans to prepare their food. We do not prepare our provision by working hard or hustle hard. Our law in the kingdom is different to that of the world. Our preparation time is the Holy Sabbath, our spiritual summer. It is doing good works for these works are counted as righteous works, and therefore go before us to provoke the Good Lord. It is not your hard work that God counts, but the works of Sabbath. When we master this, we will see how whatever we do will yield to a harvest. It won’t matter your qualification or type of work that you do because this yields a blessing to the work of your hands, whatever that is.

One of the best companies I worked for had two divisions. It was set up to help struggling households depressed by poverty, that’s the first division. A second division was formed to collect funds through investment partnerships. This, so that the program doesn’t rely solely on grants. Few years later, the investments were all that was sustaining the program as well as the two divisions. This organisation was formed as an NPO, but the profits it was making were nothing compared to a company designed for profit making. It had nothing to do with believing in God but just the hunger for charity, to bring change and embetter the lives of others. This is an example of what respecting and observing Sabbath does. It is what Sabbath is about, God helping others through you.

So you may ask, ‘what happens to someone who would love to do something, but what they wish to do requires money but they have no money to even start?’

2 Corinthians 9:10, Now the one who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will also provide and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

Of course we don’t always have money to contribute or to help us do what we wish. However, in all things, Jesus is our example. He was neither rich nor did He come from a well off family. Because of such, He had no monetary seed to plant. Instead, He was the seed that God planted. If you do not have a monetary seed, become a seed, let God plant you. There are churches that run or do missionary work. There are orphanages, elderly homes, homeless shelters and many more other places you can offer your time for Sabbath. The scripture above says, God will multiply your seed and increase your harvest. Which means that as you offer yourself as a seed, He will give you more or different types of seeds in order to increase your harvest.

John 12:24, Truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat (seed) falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces much fruit.

Sometimes, The Lord gives us a seed in a form of employment or an idea to do something that doesn’t require start up capital. This enabling us to earn some form of an income. This then, becomes our seed to help us gain multiple seeds in order to increase our harvest. However, hunger and troubles have a way of sneaking their way in to pollute the mind and steal the seed. I don’t know how many things, or what thing you’ve heard about a tithe. I do however, want to share with you what The Lord told me it is. It is a seed. A seed that needs to be planted every season in order to produce. When you are a farmer, first you get the seeds of what you want to farm, then farm. At the end of the farming season you harvest. If what you farm requires you to buy more seed in order to farm again, out of what you make you have to set aside money for the seed so that you can continue your farming business. We call this cost of sales. If you eat the seed money, you have literally eaten the business away because you have eaten the core cost that sustains it. When you run your income statement, cost of sales would have been subtracted directly from revenue generated, this excluding other income to give you your gross profit. This is the actual produce of the business. From this produce, the company can now do what it needs to in order to meet it’s other obligations. The principle is the same even with an individual. Your actual earnings are your gross earnings. When you eat the tithe you have literally eaten the seed.

Let’s look at what this does in the famous Malachi 3:10-12

Bring the full tenth into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house.Test me in this way,” says the Lord of Armies. “See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure. I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not ruin the produce of your land and your vine in your field will not fail to produce fruit,” says the Lord of Armies.

This heavenly seed

  • enables the provision of food for the house of the Lord, even an individual is the house of the Lord. ‘Know we ye not that your body is the temple of the Lord?’ It is like stocking up your tuck shop, which agrees with it being the cost of sales.
  • releases an outpour of blessings, which literally translates to the multiplication of the seed
  • It provokes God to rebuke the devourer from ruining our produce. The devourer is all about killing, stealing and destroying. This speaks to those problems that always rise closer to you earning your income. The devourer’s aim is to either strip you of the seed, or make sure that you never have enough so you end up eating the seed which kills the produce. So you end up working but never increasing financially, even to a point of losing the income altogether.
  • It also kills the ‘insects’ that eat the crops, yielding them to a misproduction. A misproduction is an incorrect or bad production. One puts in the work that is way more than what they actually reap. Else, they do the work but don’t receive payment or receive what is not equivalent to the work.

I know that most of us see this as irrelevant because of the first coming of Christ. However, in the first chapters of Malachi 3, the word tells us of the coming of John, then Christ before it tells us that we must bring in the tithe. I also have not yet come across a verse that tells us that tithing is no longer necessary, so I stand to be corrected if there is one.

The rule of tithing was also set in a way that they be given to the priests who would present them to the Lord. This because they were sanctified and qualified to stand before God, and offerings through them were acceptable. However, Christ removed that pathway, so we could all qualify to present our tithes and offerings directly to God. Mal 3: 3-4 tells us that Christ would purify and purge the priesthood so that the offerings would be made in righteousness, and they would please the Lord. Which means that offerings made in righteousness, carry a certain degree of yield in comparison to the other. More than that, this tells us that the tithe as a seed is the core element of wealth production, next to works of Sabbath. It is our form of production and cost of sales. If we can get that, we are half way through to good harvesting.

One of the biggest instruments used to neutralize the gospel of Christ was the formalization of the church. In the book of Acts, we read that in the time of the Apostles, the synagogue which became because of the increase in numbers never lacked anything. People who wanted to be part of the movement willingly sold their belongings and gave the money to the Apostles, who subsequently distributed the money in good proportions. This including food for the widows, orphans and any other poor. The Deacons were appointed to ensure that this function runs smoothly and without neglect. The poor are very close to God’s heart and scripture tells us that giving to them is like lending to God and He will repay that which is lent. We are also told in Ephesians 4:28 by Paul that we should steal no more, but work so we can have something to give the one in need. Meaning that we cannot in any way forget the poor.

The Lord had structured all this for us in a simple way of tithing. People’s tithes would take care of all this, including the portion of the priests who have no inheritance. However, the formalization of the church took away the portion of the priests, the poor, the orphans and the widows. A huge chunk of this now goes to the running costs of the church. This including the prosperity Pastors whose priority is to enrich themselves. Is this not then the best part of the Lord, giving us the Holy Spirit individually instead of only meeting with God in the temple? For us to be the priesthood in our own individual capacity. Which means that I can now decide to split my tithe in the original way that the Lord structured it. However, before such, I must present it to the Lord.

There were different types of offerings that Israel was required to make in their time. The two that stand out with relevance in this day is the thanksgiving and the first fruit offerings. Philippians 4:6, says we must make our requests known to God accompanied by thanksgiving. He also says in Psalm 100:4 enter His gates with thanksgiving. This is because coming before God is like coming before a King. No one comes before the king empty handed. You bring gifts and these gifts provoke the king to showcase his own glory by giving the same person gifts. Because of this, it is an advisable thing to bring a thanksgiving offering, even a freewill offering whenever one comes before the Lord. Israel was required to bring their offerings three times a year, in the periods God called them to His presence. They were instructed not to appear before God empty handed (Deut 16:10-17)

This is the language spoken now in the world by those who have a desire to grow and create wealth. At some point, stock trading was the biggest and ‘easiest’ type of investment which was made accessible to people of ‘all levels’. A lot of us fell for it because of the systems that were being sold to make it seem easy. Now, the biggest thing is investing in Bitcoin. The most unpredictable currency to invest in, a very high risk type of investment. Believe me, if you want to be involved in investments that make real money, have real money. The big players in these investment platforms first made their money mostly in shady ways. Then moved to influence the markets to make more money corruptly. This promotes a mindset of get rich quick, hence so many Ponzi and pyramid schemes. There is no such thing as get rich quick, wealth is built over time and lots of patience. The most stable kind of investments is private equity,  joint ventures, debentures and other debt instruments as well as tangible assets. Instead of property, I’ll say land. With land, it is up to you how you can convert it to income. At the least, foreign currency investment, but with a well recognized banking institution.  I could say trading CFDs also, but that is no different to gambling, although others do it on your behalf.

However, the world is changing very fast. The last thing anyone wants is to be stuck in these passive kind of investments possibly with a huge loss. This changing world will be favoring people with real money. However, that doesn’t mean one should give up or stop saving. There are still those emergency expenses that rise up every now and then. They need to be provided for. It is said that your goal for this kind of investment is 20% of your annual income at the very least. You want a stable and risk free investment for such e.g. fixed term deposit and yes, the interest is low compared to high risk but it guarantees safety on your money.

The bible tells us not to worry about tomorrow, what we will eat or drink for the Father knows what we need even before we ask. Which means God will always provide for our needs. Our attitude with money should never be about getting glory or to hold a status higher than others. It should never be about making us gods above God. Yes, we may, differently want certain lifestyles. Kings had lifestyles different to others and that was ok. But none of that should ever be a drive for you to gain wealth. Kings were entrusted with wealth because many would benefit from it and subsequently, their lifestyle would be taken care of.  Therefore, when you want a King’s wealth, first have a King’s mindset and act it before that wealth comes. That way you can be trusted with that wealth when you continue to demonstrate to God that you can through every little He gives you. This is what today we call business. Many businesses and investments are built on the foundation of earning income passively to sustain wealth and lifestyles, that is why they lack sustainability. However, businesses should be built like kingdoms, on the foundation of servicing  people. That way they will be surrendered to a partnership with the Lord. We have read of what God did for the kingdoms where He was the leading partner.

So now, let Pharaoh look for a discerning and wise man and set him over the land of Egypt Let Pharaoh do this: Let him appoint overseers over the land and take a fifth of the harvest of the land of Egypt during the seven years of abundance. Let them gather all the excess food during these good years that are coming. Under Pharaoh’s authority, store the grain in the cities, so they may preserve it a food. The food will be a reserve for the land during the seven years of famine that will take place in the land of Egypt. Then the country will not be wiped out by the famine.” Genesis 41:33-36

There is nowhere in the bible where the Lord tells us to hustle hard or work hard to earn wealth. Instead He tells us not to labor (toil) for wealth. He is the one who gives us the ability (wisdom) to make wealth.

This then is our summary of how we can do things differently in future in order to attract wealth, increase and retain it.

  • Do the works of Sabbath
  • Plant the heavenly seed
  • Give to the poor (financially disadvantaged)
  • Offer thanksgiving offering and first fruit, even freewill offering
  • Invest in fixed and risk free investments purely for emergencies. If you can afford it, invest in land and other commodities.
  • If you need the wealth of a King, get into business and make God the leading partner, build your kingdom purely to service people, to make their lives better and the Lord will make your life better.

Believing in God, which Christ preached is not a complex thing as it might be projected. It is just believing that God exists and rewards those who diligently seek Him. We seek Him purely by obeying His law, and that is counted as righteousness as it was with Abraham. It is not enough to just say ‘I believe in Jesus Christ’, to qualify that belief it has to be accompanied by the acts of righteousness – fellowship with Christ. These acts are the ones that yield results.

God bless!

Love for Christ

The month of August in South Africa is a month in which women are  celebrated. This, founded on a march taken by women on the 9th of August in 1956 to the union buildings, to demand their own rights. That they also should be treated like a living, breathing and fit human being. So, as the magazine we are also celebrating women this month, the daughters of Zion, the lovers and the brides of Christ.

Mary Magdalene, a woman Christ delivered from seven demonic spirits was a lover of Christ. She is the same woman Christ saved from being stoned by the Jews. A sister of Martha, who sat on Jesus’s feet while Martha was busy in the kitchen. The same woman who anointed His feet before crucifixion. She became an intense follower and lover of Christ. The bible tells us that along with others, she ministered to Christ and the Apostles with her resources. She was the first at the grave to look for her master as per the promise of the third day.

Our issue this month is dedicated to this woman, the intense and unapologetic lover of Christ. An imperfect made perfect in love, in Christ. She sees no other, her heart is fully occupied by Christ. He is her beloved and she is His.

May this woman teach us how to have this kind of love for Christ.

the fiery serpent

While our norm is to feature a man or woman of God who will give us insights concerning the things of God and of the Spirit. This month we felt it important and significant as it is father’s month, that we should lift up the name of the Lord, our Father who art in heaven. Especially with everything happening this year so unexpectedly.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life – John 3:14-15. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” – John 12:32

The Lord did not take away the serpents in the wilderness to save Israel. Instead, He called on them to have faith. This year is indeed a year that has and continues to test our faith. We are indeed in a similar position as was Israel during the time of fiery serpents. It’ll take us applying the same concept that worked for Israel to sail through. Looking up to Christ.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived. – Numbers 21:8-9

As I was cooking this one day, the Holy Spirit pressed on me to hearken and write what I hear. I will detail below what I heard, then wrote and then discuss it.

“People are patiently and some reluctantly waiting for the covid-19 vaccine. What they do not know is that the vaccine has already arrived. The covid-19 itself is the vaccine. Vaccine for what? Vaccine for the new technology that is being rolled out. Many have been dying before the covid-19 rollout but their deaths not made known to the people instead concealed. These deaths, their stats were used to study the symptoms and ills caused by this technology that in some cases lead to death. The results of this study were used to formulate what is now called a disease covid-19. However this ‘disease’ was created to
– cover up for the new technology
– use as a vaccine, and
– instill fear
1)The new technology is necessary for the evil plan of centralizing the world into one. However, the side effects of this technology will kill people. The enemy doesn’t need a disease to kill people. It has been given the power to kill by the sword; famine and beasts of the earth. He needs as many people possible in the short time he has and having them under the one world gives him an upper hand. Therefore, for the technology to be installed smoothly without fire, the enemy created covid-19 exactly with the same symptoms as the symptoms that come out as a result of this technology’s radiation. Therefore, people would get used to covid-19 as a killer disease and not the new technology.
2) The same covid-19 has been created also as a vaccine. There is no vaccine to come, whatever will come is only air. That is why the spread is so vast and aggressive. People have to be vaccinated against the radiation but how do you vaccinate people without telling them what you are vaccinating them for. Many doctors are arguing that wearing masks, rejecting certain medications and sanitizing are the opposite actions of what should be done to combat the disease. However, the plan is not to combat covid-19, it is to spread it. When you have been subjected to covid-19 you have automatically been vaccinated. Those that have died from the vaccine, would have died from the radiation but the study continues to collect facts. The vaccines come in different strains and so will covid-19.
3) When the whole world is trembling from covid-19 due to people dying. The enemy is gaining tract on his plan. The plan is to cause people to tremble enough. It is to subject them to taking the ‘vaccine’. He will deceive even the elect. The vaccine, the air is only to get many to get tags, the mark of the beast. This only achievable through fear. I have not given the spirit of fear.
Why do nations rage and rulers of the world plan a vain thing? The Lord sits on His throne and indeed will ridicule them. The Lord has spoken.”

Firstly, I give honor and glory to the Most High God, whom by His Spirit gives us understanding and revelation knowledge. The words above are not mine. However, below I will share my understanding of these words…

But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” – Daniel 12:4

At the beginning of this pandemic, a lot of information spread through social media. Mostly giving people enlightenment re the 5G technology that has been installed in some places and also under plan to be rolled out. To be honest, I didn’t even know about 5G when this info came. There was a particular message, a recording that circulated on WhatsApp by a certain Pastor that used to work for Vodafone, a revelation. The revelation above on covid-19 as a cover up is only confirming what was revealed through him on 5G. I don’t know about everyone else but I love confirmations. I had to learn the hard way how important they are.

The information on 5G installation and its radiation effects is vast on the internet. I will therefore, not dwell on it.

I have recently started studying psychology, just to get basic understanding on human behavior. It was interesting to me the first thing I found out just before this revelation came.

Ivan Petrovich Pavlov was a Russian scientist who investigated the digestive system of dogs by presenting them with meat powder and measuring the amount of saliva they produced. Pavlov found that the dogs began to salivate even before the meat powder was presented as they associated the feeder with the meat powder. This led Pavlov to conclude that the dogs were conditioned to respond to the feeder through the process of classical conditioning.

Classical conditioning: This type of learning involves the repeated association of a previously neutral stimulus [feeder] with an unconditioned stimulus [meat], to elicit a conditioned response [salivate]

Researchers Watson and Raynor wanted to test the idea that fear could be acquired through classical conditioning. Their subject was Little Albert, an eleven-month-old son of a female employee at the clinic. The child’s mother knew nothing about the experiment. Watson and Raynor presented Albert with a white laboratory rat [NS] while sounding a loud noise [UCS]. Little Albert soon associated the loud noise with the white rat and was conditioned to fear the rat [CR]. This fear was then generalised to other fluffy white objects such as Santa’s beard and a sealskin coat. – extract from alison.com

The purpose of this rat experiment was to make the child fear the white fluffy rat. The noise was used as the conditioner. It already triggered the required response. While the rat would have achieved a neutral response, together with the noise the child was conditioned to associate the rat with the noise that already triggered fear.

This is the conditioning done through covid-19. Death is an unconditioned stimulus. People are generally afraid of dying. While on the other hand no one is afraid of flu. But flu associated with death will definitely trigger fear. This is the conditioned response that rulers of this world need from covid-19 to help them get people to willingly subject themselves to the ‘vaccine’. I am convinced that anyone who has had covid-19 or has been exposed to a covid-19 experience will run for the ‘vaccine’. Young and old, black or white, rich or poor, believer or nonbeliever will deem it necessary. It doesn’t even matter the fact that there is no proof that the covid-19 death stats are real, or if people are dying from other causes during the covid-19 time. Therefore, they are dying to covid-19. Just the fact that the rate of transmission is so high accompanied by death stats is enough to condition the subjects.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. – Matthew 24:24

One of the wonders that Jesus performed was the miraculous healing. I had to check the definition of a messiah the other day out of interest. [a leader regarded as the savior of a particular country, group, or cause.]

First let’s discuss scientific facts about vaccines

a preparation containing usually killed or weakened microorganisms (as bacteria or viruses) that is given usually by injection to increase protection against a particular disease.

Did you hear someone saying they were given injections while in hospital under covid-19 recovery supervision? I did…

So a vaccine is a preparation of killed or weakened viruses given to protect one against viruses. e.g. a flu vaccine is a preparation of killed or weakened flu bacteria or virus given to one for protection against flu. But we all know this, right?

How does it work?

A vaccine works by training the immune system to recognize and combat pathogens, either viruses or bacteria. To do this, certain molecules from the pathogen must be introduced into the body to trigger an immune response. These molecules are called antigens, and they are present on all viruses and bacteria.

Do we want to join the doctors and ask why we are wearing masks, knowing that this will lead to us continuously subjecting ourselves to the virus if one already has it? Are we not training the immune system?

I have heard a few people saying that after taking the shot they fell ill. This is said to usually be mild side effects of the vaccine.

So if the vaccines are usually given by way of injection, how can covid-19 be a vaccine when it is transmitted by small droplets released from coughing, sneezing or talking that fall on a surface?

Firstly, the droplets are pathogens, they are infectious. Vaccines contain pathogens, weakened or killed. It’s not about the form of subjection, it’s about the virus being imposed.
Secondly, the vaccines are taken to train the immune system to recognize the virus and respond with a fight. Our bodies are being subjected to covid-19 so that it can train the immune system to recognize and respond to the virus. That is why it has been said that the most who have passed had underlying illnesses, their immune system was weak to fight. We are being trained so that we are able to withstand the effects of 5G.

Suddenly there is medication being made available soon strictly manufactured for covid-19. However, the vaccine is not yet ready and it takes 18 – 24 months to prepare one except for trials underway. Because that will be enough time to repeatedly subject people to the conditioned stimulus of death and flu. Enough to cause them to run for the “vaccine”. While in the meanwhile another strain of covid-19 is being made ready for distribution.

When Israel in Edom got saturated by poisonous snakes, them crying to Moses didn’t move God to remove the snakes. Instead He ordered that Moses design a snake and put it up on a pole so that whoever looked up to the pole would be healed.

The rulers of the world are planning a vain thing against God. When the enemy comes in like a flood He raises the standard. While they took this ‘vaccinate against 5G’ action, God took the opportunity to pour out grace. The battle is the Lords and the battle is for the body and soul. Subjecting people to the ‘vaccine’ means Satan gaining many bodies and souls. He can only do that through fear.

In conclusion, there is never anything new under the sun. What is happening now might have different features, but it has happened before and the children of God survived it through God. It won’t help us to fear or worry, instead, we must shift our focus from all of this and find a new way of living through these circumstances rather than clamping ourselves up or rebelling. The governmental lock downs are enough, let us not let them extend to our minds as well. Unfortunately, if God didn’t take away the serpents we are also possibly going to have this problem for a long time. Therefore, I am all for the medication than I am for the vaccine especially for the children of God. Forgive my ignorance, but I don’t understand what vaccination would actually do at this stage. If it had come before the breakout of the virus, it would have made sense to vaccinate people in order to guard against it. But the disease is spreading like fire on dry grass and it’ll continue to do so. Which for me indicates that we need a different way to deal with it than vaccination. I believe that while the rulers of this world have started this problem, God will finish it in a way that glorifies Him. Therefore, I wait in faith for such a time.

May the Lord open our eyes that we may see His wondrous works!

Genesis 21:17 – 19 ~ And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

What do you do when you run out of water? Water is an essential part of our bodies. It evaporates and requires replenishment every now and then. If we go without it for the longest of time, we become dehydrated and that can lead to death.

Jesus said to the Samaritan, whoever drinks from this water will never thirst again. Instead, the water will become a well of water springing up in him to eternal life (John 4:14). This is a conversation where the two were speaking of water that satisfies a thirst. While the woman was speaking in physical terms, Christ was speaking in spiritual to physical terms. See, our carnality limits us to physical provision. Christ however, enlightens us to a certain flow of provision that starts from heaven to spirit to physical. Christ’s kind of provision works with the conscious mind. The conscious mind is the ground where heavenly things are meant to spring out. It is a well of immediate knowledge and understanding. However, this well works well together with the subconscious, the heart from where the heavenly things are placed and government of such also is. In other words, heaven works well with the mind. Without the  mind being intune with heaven, it cannot bring forth heavenly things. Christ tells us that whoever believes in Him, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. Therefore, instead of thirsting, one will spring out the water that quenches the thirst in many ways. In other words, one will be a well of water.  In the physical sense, just drinking water when we feel thirsty revitalises us. However, in spiritual sense, drinking water means believing in Christ, the I AM That I AM. Because that name in its own right knows no end, that means that the fountain from where an individual draws their spiritual water knows no end and therefore, shall yield no end, unless the drinking has been halted.

For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks – Mat 12:34

Whatever we speak is what we think. It is purely uttered thoughts. The mouth cannot utter what the mind didn’t first think. Hence scripture says, as the man thinks in his heart, so is he. It is because wherever the mind goes (thinks), the man (body) will utter or execute such. This is why we highly advocate for self control. Self control allows you the power to subdue your thoughts to what is right. It gives you the power to say No to whatever is wrong according to your principles and God’s standard.

This tells us that, our well as human beings refers to the influx of thoughts. The fountain of such however is determined by the state of our hearts. Our worlds are shaped by our hearts, what is in our subconscious. The subconscious is the pool to which the heavenly ideas flow, then transferred to the conscious mind as thoughts. However, when the subconscious, the heart is not in tune with the fountain of life (heaven – Christ), the pool is filled with the wordly ideas.

For us to be able to manifest the heavenly ideas that manifest as thoughts that come into our conscious minds, we have to have the knowledge of The I AM that dwells in our subconscious. See, I AM desires to express Himself on earth through the physical man. That is the purpose of the physical man, to host I AM. However, each individual is to express an element of I AM. Because of such, we can never feel totally complete outside of I AM and the rest of the Body of Christ. We feel complete in our individual capacity when I AM is in power and in control. An individual is the space from which He can operate to bring together the church to complete Himself through the Body. I AM is the truth. He is our true identity.

Beer stands for (a) well and Sheba for fulfilment, completeness, fullness of time. Together meaning a well of fulfilment. Biblically meaning, a well of oath, or a well of covenant. This is a place where the Lord is said to be the Everlasting God, the I AM That I AM.

God has given us Beer-sheba. A well in our hearts, a pool for ideas from The Great I AM. Many a times we get excited when we have a fresh idea perhaps for a business, a hobby, a solution or even a revelation on something. This excitement inspires us to do something about this “click”. It becomes a driver for us. What we don’t realise at times is that what we call inspiration is actually a spirit, giving us something to do powered by an unseen motivation. We have a well in us. It is a well to spring out rivers of living water, rivers of life.

Hagar called the spring of water on the way to Shur between Kadesh and Bered, Beer-Lahai-Roi – the well of the ONE who sees. See, we need that well in us. Infact we need God to open our eyes to see it. The God who is EL Roi sees us, sees our situations, sees our struggles and even our efforts. Above all He sees Himself in us because He made us in His nature. Because of such He has answers to every struggle we face. He created the whole universe, it’s principles and responses. So He has an answer to how we can and should deal with things. The struggle only comes from an opposing space that forces us to think differently to what God is giving us. We were formed out of the dust pushed up from the dark waters. So, there is that negative force in us that wants us to believe things that are not concerning us. However, Jesus gave us His word – the truth and His Spirit – the Helper. All this in an effort to make us come to a full realisation of who we truly are, the vessels of I AM. In an effort to transform us, He aims to bring us to a space of salvation, the well of fulfillment.

Hagar, cried for her child, forgetting that she had already met ONE who sees, and as such even at that moment He was seeing her struggle. Not just seeing, but had an answer to it. The Bible tells us that God opened her eyes and she saw the well of water. Jesus said, I have come to make the blind see and those that see blind. The first time Hagar ran from oppression, her ungoverned thoughts brought her to Beer-lahai-roi, the next stage of her life – spiritual consciousness. However, the second time she left Sarah’s house, Abraham, her divine mind took her to the wilderness of Beer-sheba. Though her thoughts were still wild, they were in a space of faith. It is in this space that God made her see who she was, the well of living water. All answers were inside of her. She just needed to tap into them by confessions of prayer so that I AM could spring them out of her to life.

Child of God, we have a well in us, Beer-Lahai-Roi which becomes Beer-sheba as we mature in faith. We have a covenant with God. He is our God and we are His people. When Jesus opens our eyes to see this well, He opens our eyes to endless possibilities. He opens our eyes to our covenant with the I AM That I AM. See, how we hear God is determined by what we believe about ourselves. Our faith in God, and growth thereof is shaped by our perception of self. That is why in a faith journey there are people who always want to suppress and limit you. It is so that you don’t get to the full understanding of who you are, I AM. Also in our journey there are two voices that’ll always speak. The voice of the negative force deep down in us, as well as the voice of truth in our hearts. It is the Spirit we yield to as inspiration that’ll always direct us. Beer-sheba is the Holy Spirit of God in us. A well through which all positive things come, for the truth is that All things are possible with God, the I AM THAT I AM, that is in us. Hence we are called gods. He is the source of our godship.

Revelation 14:8. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Babylon, Egypt, Sodom or Edom is a mindset of the blind. We may believe that the fall of Babylon refers to an actual physical city falling. A city is a people, a system, a mindset. It is a people, system or thing controlling the minds of many. It’s fall represents the loosening of it’s hold over people’s minds. When Media and Persia (Medo-Persia) overthrew the reign of Babylon, It only overthrew the method of enslavement, but kept enslavement. In it’s reign media, science and technology became the tools of enslavement promoting blindness. Paul was blinded by Christ, and after his process had been completed, the scales in his eyes fell off. This is the fall of Babylon, the scales of blindness on the people falling off, opening their eyes to the Beer-lahai-Roi (spiritual consciousness) and subsequently, Beer-sheba. When you are blind, you are dependent. When you are dependent you are prone to be a slave to that which you believe is your solution. Better yet, you conform and settle because you do not see a way out. Like the blind man at the pool of Bethesda.

Hagar was a slave woman to Sarah. As such, Sarah was her answer. Hence when she ran from her torture she went to the wilderness. This is what we do also when we are in an uncomfortable situation. We run to the wilderness. Wilderness is synonymous to wildness. When we have unstructured, ill-disciplined thoughts, we tend to be wild, ungovernable or unstructural and at that point are unproductive. In other words, spiritually speaking she became full of fruitless thoughts until God showed up and told her who she was. She was special to God, but to herself, she was just a slave with no way out. In the wilderness of Beer-sheba however, God opens her eyes to see who she really was, a mother of a nation. Not the nation under Abraham as she had perceived, but a nation under God. It is in that realisation that she started acting as such. She was fighting for a wrong position yet God had a different position for her, similar but more powerful. It is only blindness that keeps us looking where we should not. Blindness limits our options. The well of God however, confirms that all things are possible with God because He is I AM That I AM. His Spirit is always ready to inspire us towards the perfect direction. We just have to believe. Beer-sheba is the space where God fulfills His covenant with us, being one with Him. It is a space where He reveals who we are to Him and opens our eyes to see ourselves as He sees us. We have to believe and see who we are in order to become I AM. Is it not amazing that God told Moses to say, “I AM sent me”? God was presenting Himself before Pharoah through Moses. This is the realisation that Hagar came to when her eyes were opened. She became conscious of who she was. However, for the conscious to produce in the level of I AM, the will has to be aligned. From that point, opportunities become endless.

May your eyes of understanding be enlightened!

the eternal gospel

Then I saw another angel flying high overhead, with the eternal gospel to announce to the inhabitants of the earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people. He spoke with a loud voice: “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.” ~Revelation 14:6-7~

Beginning September 2020, I had a dream. In this dream, I was trying to climb up a cloud to see what was going on the other side of it. When I had finally and successfully climbed up, I saw ONE seated on the cloud on a throne like chair. Around him, there were few men, a number similar to that of the chosen Apostles. I looked at all of them, and the ONE seated on the throne said to me, “these are the ones I will minister with, the eternal gospel”. Suddenly we were all on earth and I was following Him around. He was not preaching but wherever He entered He pulled up whichever person He desired. At a very swift speed, whatever individual pulled up was gone from the earth. When I woke up the morning after, with the dream still so perfectly clear in my mind, I wondered about the eternal gospel. However, not more than I was distressed by the fact that there were only so very few individuals chosen to minister with Christ the eternal gospel. My distress was on the fact that, the world is full of teachers; pastors; evangelists and apostles, yet there were only so few that Christ chose to use to minister the eternal gospel with. When I enquired about the eternal gospel, the Holy Spirit sent me to the scripture above. About a month later, a sister of mine in Christ sent me an invite to a session she was to attend, teaching about the gospel of the kingdom to be preached before the coming of Christ [Matthew 24:14]. Her words, “The Lord told me not to send this invite to just about anyone but to the one He reveals to me. I have been pacing in my house waiting for Him to reveal whom I should send to, and your face popped up. If you are free, may you please join us for the session?”. I honestly chuckled to myself when I saw that message, thinking to myself, “the Lord has jokes”. Before I agreed to attend, I shared with her the dream above and she was amazed by the works of the Lord, and so was I. Nevertheless, we attended the session and it literally confirmed and clarified a lot of things that the Lord had already revealed to me.

Child of God, fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgement has come. Worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water. Before the coming of Christ, John preached in the wilderness, “make straight the way of the Lord” and baptized the repentant in water. Right after Him, Jesus was revealed. We are already in the season of the revelation of Christ. Let it be known that in March 2019, again I had a vision while at church – a white horse came out of the firmament. He who sat on it was also dressed in white, carrying a sword. His horse galloped up a hill right to the top of it. When it got to the top, He drew out His sword and pointed it up. Around the hill was a village like, many white houses with green trees. This was the beginning of it all, a visual of Revelation 6:1 and 19:11-16. There was a lot that the Lord did also in 2018, to prepare the church for the actualization of the first seal. In 2020, revelation 6:1-8 became a reality, with the fourth seal still about to come to maturity. However, there is comfort in the Lord. December 2020, He again sent me to revelation 14:13 …

Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

We are in the days of Revelation 14. Therefore, pay close attention to the final and official outcome of America and Donald Trump. The kingdoms of the Beast and the dragon are shifting. The end of Donald Trump will be the biblically proclaimed fall of Babylon. Truly, everything is happening very fast, we have very little time to comprehend and analyze things. However, our spiritual eye of understanding should have been sharpened in 2020 if we were all in tune with the spiritual things. However, there is comfort in the Lord …

Matthew 24:22, And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

Revelation 14: 14-17, Then I looked, and there was a white cloud, and one like the Son of Man was seated on the cloud, with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. Another angel came out of the temple, crying out in a loud voice to the one who was seated on the cloud, “Use your sickle and reap, for the time to reap has come, since the harvest of the earth is ripe. “So the one seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested. Then another angel who also had a sharp sickle came out of the temple in heaven.

The 144k, the first church of Christ has already been sealed. Out of this church shall come the two witnesses which are the prophets, as well as those chosen to minister the eternal gospel. The season for the five fold ministry is folding up, saints have been equipped and harvested.

There was a time in my circle, when I told people to examine themselves according to the seven churches of the book of revelation, so as to know and understand what they needed to do. Some people were revealed to me which churches they were, and the grace of God instructed intercession for them. The Lord was clear on one thing, that one was to repent or judgement shall befall. The sealing of the 144k was the reaping of the harvest which was ready at the time of harvesting from the seven of these churches.

Revelation 14: 17-20, Yet another angel, who had authority over fire, came from the altar, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Use your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the vineyard of the earth, because its grapes have ripened.” So the angel swung his sickle at the earth and gathered the grapes from the vineyard of the earth, and he threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath. Then the press was trampled outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press up to the horses’ bridles for about 180 miles.

The [wild] grapes from the vineyard mentioned above refer to the house of Israel [Isaiah 5:7], the unbelieving believers as my pastor would put it. You will remember that in revelation 11, the bible speaks of the measuring of the temple of God excluding the outside court to be given to the gentiles. This outside court shall be trampled upon for the very same period that the two witnesses will be prophesying. This shall lead us to the fifth seal of revelation 6.

However, there is comfort in the Lord …

Revelation 7:9 – 10, After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!

Child of God, the eternal gospel is here – “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.” Whether you are one of the sealed 144k or not, the truth remains this – Jesus is Lord and He has another chance waiting for those who missed the first harvesting season.

Peace be unto you and your house …

The 144,000

Keep your eye on the ball child of God. Yes, it is good to be aware of the happenings around us so as to understand the times. However, let us not lose sight of what is important. Distractions are called such for a reason. For a child of God, the important thing is to keep our minds focused on Christ, the author and finisher. Like a friend of mine always says, “this battle is not ours and it’s already won”. We are not activists as the children of God. We don’t fight for our rights by holding physical marches, protests or petitions. We hold a different kind of such. The kind that Joshua held in Jericho. The kind that Jehoshaphat and his army held. Ours is to pray and bring to manifestation by God’s directed acts, the answers and the promises of God. See, we resort to activism because we are short of understanding how we can work with God so as to allow Him to be God on earth. He has already dealt with it all and revealed it for us the how, in His word. However, He needs us to work with Him to manifest His victory in the physical. Many times He has used the wicked to bring about His plan on earth because we are not in tune. None of us knew the details of the new world order. However, covid brought us all to a place of awareness of its plan, also awakening us to the knowledge of the times. We need to be in tune with Christ.

Exodus 3:9-10. Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them. Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Moses grew up in the house of Pharoah, as a Prince. Yet, when he killed an Egyptian, Pharoah was after him to kill him. Such that he had to flee. He knew the ins and outs of the house of Pharoah, it’s ways and operations. He had an upper hand of knowledge than an ordinary guy who could have done the same. Still he ran instead of using the knowledge to his advantage. Christ said, I am sending you out like sheep amongst wolves, be wise as a serpent and innocent (humble) as a dove. Moses’s act portrays exactly that. When time came, God sent him back to the very place he ran away from, to do the very thing he tried to do and caused him to flee. Except this time He was coming back to do it with God. Therefore, it was a guaranteed success. We can never allow our faith to take us to a place where God hasn’t sent us. We’ll be going without the chief commander of the army.

John 4:23 -24. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

This verse became very loud in 2020, such that those who understood it, engaged in spiritual consultation with God. Many prayed and fasted last year under different assignments for it was time to worship God in Spirit. However, 2021 brings us to the place of worshiping Him in truth. Such we do by bringing to manifestation His word and His promises by faith. A Joshua and Moses kind of faith. Worshiping Him in truth means bringing the truth forth, to the surface, by God’s instruction for God to take His glory.

Twice have death come for me in a form of a sickness. The first time I knew nothing about demons, but I knew prayer, so I prayed to God for healing after a whole month of consultation with doctors without help, God healed me. The second time, the same sickness came at me. Except this time I knew about demons. After 10 days of enormous pain, the Holy Spirit explained to me that a demon called death was the cause of my anguish. Then He told me what to do. Immediately the oppressing gigantic pain left my body. I have listened to testimonies of how this covid kills people, and through my experience of death, have come to realise that while covid is a disease, what is actually killing people is the demon called death. This demon hears no medication or medical therapy and will certainly not be made to go away by a vaccine. It requires a different kind of treatment. These things can treat the contagion yes, but they cannot treat death. So what will happen to the news about covid deaths after the vaccines are fully rolled out?

December 31, a prophetic warning circulated in our country. There was a call for the nation to participate in a light-a-candle-campaign. This to commemorate those who had lost their lives to covid. However, this prophetic message was warning people against doing such. Saying that, the campaign gives an open door to death. However, many unknowingly and ignorantly participated in it. There was another call in this prophetic message, for people to plead the blood of Jesus as the Spirit of death would be passing through that midnight, as in the days of Israel in Egypt. Personally, from the morning of the 31st, my Spirit was urging me to take Holy Communion at midnight. The following day, the 1st, the Holy Spirit gave me understanding, that “on the 31st the Lord sealed His first church, the 144,000. This done by the mark of the blood”. I was surprised to see on social media that some people also took Holy Communion that night.

Revelation 7:4. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

12k was sealed according to each tribe of Israel, the first church to inherit the kingdom of God. These tribes stand for the following:

  • Judah                   –              kings – wealth creators
  • Reuben                –              warriors – men of war
  • Gad                       –              leaders for execution of God’s will
  • Asher                    –              farmers
  • Naphtali              –              carriers of God’s favor
  • Manasseh           –              daughters of Zion
  • Simeon               –              warriors – men of war
  • Levi                       –              the priesthood of worshippers; teachers and helps
  • Issachar              –              prophets with knowledge of the times and what to do
  • Zebulun              –              prophets with knowledge of God’s desires
  • Joseph                –              administrators for appropriation of wealth
  • Benjamin           –              peace makers

Revelation 14:1. And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

Child of God, the army of Christ is set to move together with Christ. To fight the battle that has been brought fought by the Beast and his army. Do not be dismayed or discouraged. God has already won the battle. Is it not amazing that He sealed His army before the rollout of the vaccine?

Let us remember the days of the Apostles and the days of Moses and Joshua. Keep your minds focused on Christ and know that the enemy is always behind, God ahead. Whatever He has brought us to, He will bring us out of.

peace be still

Mark 4:39 – 41 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Beloved children of God, as we continue to find our ground in this new year we have just entered, may we be mindful of the Almighty Power of The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Everything created bows down and worships Him who is the lamb that was slain, be it in heaven, on earth and under, the sea and under. Everything that has breath praises God, every knee bows down to Him and every tongue confesses that He is Lord, even unintentionally. Therefore all shall hear His rebuke, “peace be still”, and men shall witness His power. This is my belief concerning 2021.

This year we will focus on recording notes from the Believer’s bible study. As such, this month we will focus on prophecy. We are now entering the phase of the two witnesses. However, during the time of the five fold ministry, equipping of the saints, [false] prophecy became means to greed and manipulation of the weak. Therefore, this month we try to understand both the office and the gift, from the Believer’s study notes.

We will also be discussing the bible prophecies from the book of revelation that have been revealed and manifested so far.

His word is a lamp unto our feet. It orders our steps, directs our paths and leads us down the path of righteousness. Therefore, we are grateful for every God centred and purposed revelation knowledge, for it helps us discern the times in order for us to know what to do. Scripture tells us that the sons of Issachar were gifted with knowledge of the times so as to guide Israel accordingly.

And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment. – 1 Chronicles 12:32

Peace be unto you and your house …

the good fight

Matthew 14
25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.
26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29 “Come,” he said.

Joshua 6
1 Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in.
2 And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.
3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days.
4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.
5 It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”

1) Command of the Lord
2) Presence of the Lord
3) Promise of the Lord
4) Impossibility in sight
5) Faith (taking a step even when you don’t see the road)
6) Courage (moving forward even with torment of fear)

Command of the Lord
In the expectation of faith, the Lord does not remove the distractions and the pressures, but it is your faith that exalts Him above all the adversaries. Faith required to exalt God despite all things, is the one that waits for His command before acting. For it understands that where there is His command there is also His promise that you shall succeed.

Presence of The Lord
Secondly, it never moves outside of His presence because His presence is the power that supersedes all powers. That is why Moses in Deut 33 refused to move without His presence, even with the command and the promise of the presence of an angel. He knew what His presence meant, that it is literally moving with the power of God. It is God Himself covering you. It is His presence that keeps you steady and focused even when torment (fear) starts to raise its head to distract you, because you know Him, that He is God and none compares to Him. It is His presence that gives you courage.

Promise of The Lord
See I have given Jericho into your hands, said the Lord to Joshua. Joshua went into that march knowing full well, as according to God’s promise that he had already won Jericho against its king and soldiers. This is such comfort, when you know even before taking a step that the Lord is for you and therefore victory is guaranteed. The promise of God gives you that inspiration to do something, whatever He instructs because you know that victory is guaranteed. It only takes obedience to instruction then God does the rest. At times the promise might not be plain, but in every instruction of God, in every command there is a promise.

Impossibility in sight
Jesus did not say to Peter, ‘why did you become afraid?’, instead He says, ‘why did you doubt?’. Because He was not looking at the result but at the source of his sinking. The source of his sinking was doubt. He could see Jesus, knew Jesus, had started walking on the water, but the wind caused him to doubt. What is this power of doubt? It is said that doubt is not the absence of faith, it is the element necessary to test and stretch your faith.

When the woman heard about Jesus, she came up through the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak. For she kept saying, “If only I touch His garments, I will be healed.” – Mark 5:27-28

Whatever we deem impossible is only impossible in the capacity of men but not in the capacity of God. Therefore what we keep telling ourselves based on what we deem possible or impossible, we purpose in our hearts. It forms in the heart of a (wo)man. Such that once it is uttered or acted upon, it is established. The bible says that where the mind goes, the man follows. We believe that the spiritual realm is a principal realm and the physical the secondary. Therefore, whatever is purposed in the spirit, for it to be established in the physical realm, it has to be confessed and/or acted upon. Most time what we say in our hearts [what we think], is always negative, the opposite of the promises of God. That is how we surrender the power in us to anything other than ourselves. We keep thinking in our hearts the negative of what we truly desire to see manifest. See, the world teaches the power of positive thinking. A concept not completely wrong. The only thing wrong about it is that it promotes self reliance than Christ reliance. When we use positive thinking based on the promises of God, we are victors. We see this faith with Joshua defeating Jericho.

This was the scenario also with Peter, however, the storm overwhelmed him. it’s not that he forgot the command, nor the presence of God. However, the overwhelming sound and power of the storm caused him to focus on it rather than to ignore it. Then the voice of fear switched his thoughts. That is what caused him to sink. This is the doubt Christ spoke of. The powerful thoughts that shift one from focusing their thoughts on the power of Christ. This is one of the reasons why we are so helpless as the children of God. The same power that God has given us, to manifest things, the power of thought, is the same power the enemy uses against us. The power is in what we tell ourselves, what we purpose in our hearts. For whatever that is, our bodies will follow it to manifest it.

Christ measured the faith that moves mountains to the size of a mustard seed so as to reveal our predicament. Our  thoughts mostly reflect us as defeated beings and Christ says, just push your positive word founded thoughts to the size of a mustard seed, and you will see the amazing things that will do. The trick of believing is in what we factor in our hearts.

Matthew 8:13. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

The Centurion likened himself to Christ. He was a man with authority of soldiers, and such he understood authority. Not just, but he also understood the type of authority Jesus had, that He had authority over every spiritual thing. That authority is demonstrated to us with Peter’s mother in law. Jesus only touched her hand and the fever left. He didn’t command anything to go, but just His touch caused the fever to go. Even the leper said, if you will, cleanse me. Which means that he also understood the authority of Christ. See, a lot of times, Jesus needed the person to only believe and as they believed they would receive. He never addressed the demons, but He addressed the faith of the individual He was healing. It is only when the demon spoke that He addressed the demon. To the Centurion He said, as you have believed you have it. So which means that, when we lack faith, it is because we either doubt His authority, or we do not understand it. Even so, whether Christ intervenes or not, our belief determines the outcome. Whatever we believe we act out or utter in confession, then it becomes.

The two scriptures show us the different approaches, one with courage and another with lack of. Lack of causes us to sink in fear, while courage gives us the result we desire. Courage is putting our faith into action, while lack of means letting go of it. It is even worse to let go of faith when you have taken a step already. There are many times that we hear God speak to us and instructing us on what we need to do, as He did with Joshua and Peter. Courage is taking a step to do what He instructs, even without knowing for sure that the voice you have heard truly is of God. It is courage that demonstrates the faith one has in God, the faith that pleases Him – trust and obey as was seen with Abraham.

We are entering a season that requires lots of discernment. Faith has been an instrument for those who fellowship with Christ, purely because we understand that without faith it is impossible to please God. However, faith can also be unwise. For it to be wise, discernment has to be the centre of it. Our faith in God has to be aligned with the understanding of His will. Otherwise we will go around declaring things by faith, that are not in lign with God’s will. Then become disappointed when they do not come to pass. He says, ‘my word shall not return to me void’. Which means that His word manifests His will. Because of such, whatever situation that requires us to apply our faith in God, we have to hear what God is saying about it in order for us to act out or confess His will. Scripture tells us that when we pray according to His will, we have confidence that He hears us, and if He hears us we have what we want.

The elements listed above are to help us understand how to apply our faith in any situation, in order for what we desire to manifest successfully by faith. Jesus is the centre of our faith. We cannot instruct Him unless we understand the mind of God. Which means that in applying faith, we must first hear Jesus’s will on the matter so as to not test God in the name of faith.

As we close 2020, may we always remember the faith that moves mountains. Jesus said, ‘I do nothing except for what I see my father do. Whatever I say I hear my Father say.’ We also are not independent of God. That is the faith that moves mountains, one that knows the source of miraculous power and that we are only vessels

Be blessed!

time for everything

1 There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven—
2 A time to be born and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
3 A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4 A time to weep and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
5 A time to throw away stones and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing.
6 A time to search and a time to give up as lost;
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;
A time to keep silent and a time to speak.
8 A time to love and a time to hate;
A time for war and a time for peace
~ Ecclesiastes 3 amp ~

Jesus said in Luke 12:56, you hypocrites, you know how to analyse and intelligently interpret the appearance of the earth and sky, but why don’t you know how to intelligently interpret present time.

I have grown to a realisation that most of the times we toil, struggle and stress when we go through things, circumstances or situations because we don’t know the season we would be in at that time in our lives. When you know which season you are in, you are able to structure your life and strategize for it around the season. This, because we cannot skip seasons that have been set upon our individual lives, we just have to cooperate with them, endure them and make them bearable for us while in the process we are mindful of the lesson packaged for us in that season. It is temporary, it won’t last forever. Just like the earthly season last for a certain period and achieve what is necessary, so are the seasons in our lives, set for a certain period to achieve a certain purpose. We just have to know which season we are in so we can make ourselves comfortable for that time period.

I have also noticed that when you approach the end of each season your body will tell you. Pains, tiredness or illnesses and even pressure will rise up when you are approaching the end of a season. It is like driving a long distance. You are all energised when you are still travelling and make yourself comfortable because you know where you are going is far, so you psych yourself for the journey. But when you are approaching your destination, it is when you start feeling tired, cramps and all.

Know the season you are in so you can position yourself as well as get yourself comfortable for the time period because you can’t pray it to end. It has to outlive its period. You can’t change it, but you can change how you react to it because at the end of it comes promotion – elevation

May God bless us all with wisdom to know our individual seasons, not just, but also in the knowledge of the time we are now in, in this phase of life.

Blessed holidays!

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. ~ Genesis 2:7 ~

I’m so fascinated by this term ‘living soul’. In our knowledge of the structure of a human being, that s(he) is Spirit; Soul and Body. It sends my mind scouting, the thought that, this thing we call a soul, something we cannot see but have heard it described so many times, exists separately. Yet, the living and moving being is an actual living soul. What we call a body is actually a physical soul. Meaning all things that make up a soul are presented to us to perceive in a human form.

The bible tells us that God created man in His image and likeness. The question that should be in everyone’s mind constantly is – why did God create man? The bible doesn’t tell us why man was created, but it tells us of things created for the benefit of man. I mean God is so patient with humanity. He is loving, merciful and faithful towards man. It truly is a wonder, why? Yes, I get that He wants to extend His kingdom from heaven down to earth. However, we also know that He can raise even a stone to do what He requires done, or destroy this humanity like He did in the times of Noah and create a new human race. Yet His love and patience made us see Him come down to earth for a sacrifice, to save this very humanity.

1 Corinthians 2:9. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Let’s look at this patience that we see, with Him forming His kingdom from scratch. Yet with all the disobedience of man, He doesn’t tire. To the point of the second coming of Christ, all the way to the new millenial. Such a plan for just humanity.

Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: – Genesis 12:1-2

The bible tells us that Abram took his wife, Lot and all their belongings, including their servants when they left for this unknown land, Canaan. Taking Lot might have been out of responsibility. Yet, it is only when he was separated from Lot that the Lord for the first time revealed his inheritance, the heritage of the nation that was in his loins. Lot was Abram’s nephew, but at the same time, represented familiarity. Which in this day translates to a familiar spirit. The Lord allowed for Abram to move around with this familiarity, even though He had instructed him to leave all his farmiliarity behind. See, familiar spirits feed from their host. They take whatever they can for the kingdom of darkness. Christ said, whoever is not for me is against me. It’s not a complicated statement. God chose Abram for His nation. That nation was to come from Abram’s loins and birthed by his wife. Therefore, besides his servants, no one else was chosen to be part of that nation. Hence he was told to leave all his familiarity behind, for God was building a nation from scratch.

As the born again Christians, there are many things we are familiar with that the Lord tells us to leave behind in our walk with Him. He says, behold I am doing a new thing, and that new thing is the individual and every benefit that comes with. You cannot recognise, accept and yield to this new thing if you are carrying around things that remind you of the old you. I am not saying you need to cut yourself off from your family, other people, or doing this and that. However, depending on your journey, the Lord will instruct you of what or who you need to part with maybe for a season. I have realised that sometimes the parting is temporary. You just need to trust God. This is the first thing we need to understand about walking with God. That He will remove anything and anyone that might hinder or delay our walk with him.

Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” – Genesis 41:39-40

Joseph rises into power as a ruler in Egypt. This becoming because of his wisdom to interpret dreams and give counsel. However, after his rise, Pharaoh gives him a wife of an Egyptian priest, and subsequently, his gift is used for divination than prophecy. Him becoming a ruler was God positioning him for the migration of Israel to Egypt as spoken to Abraham. However, falling into divination could not have been part of the plan. In all his walk, Joseph managed to keep his dedication to the Lord. However, as a ruler, it’s like he lost his voice to reject the wife he was being given as a gift. What caused that? With all that wisdom, you’d think that Pharoah would let him be, but instead, much as he was a wise man of Israel, he had to adopt the ways of Egypt for Egypt wasn’t willing to adopt the ways of Israel, except for their benefit. Which tells us that, it is easy for another kingdom or god to overule those who belong to the kingdom of God. We saw this with Solomon as well. The Lord instructing him not to marry outside of Israel for these other women would teach him in the ways of their gods. Indeed it is exactly what happened. Same thing happened with Ahab. What is the solution then to this problem? Obedience and self control. This is the second thing we need to learn as the children of God. If we do not obey the Lord and learn to say no to our worldly desires, we will fail dismally.

Daniel 2:48. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.

Daniel shows us the difference between a person dedicated to God to the one easily given to their own worldly desires and temptations. From denying food from the king’s table, all the way to being thrown into the lion’s den by the men of king Darius. Yet, he never gave up his loyalty. Just like Joseph, he was an overseer in the kingdom of Babylon. Even in this foreign country, he could not be moved. This is the third thing we need to learn, to be fixed and grounded in the Lord no matter what is thrown at us. He has promised to never leave nor forsake us. Which means that, even in the fire, even in the den of lions He will be there to rescue us. We should never let fear make us forget this promise. Greater is He that is in us, than the one who is in the world.

Ezra 9:1-2. Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.  For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

The priesthood, the set apart, sanctified and declared generational priests, even they find themselves mixed up with the women and sons of Canaan. The Lord instructed Israel, that when they get to Canaan they should not worship the Canaanite’s gods. Instead they should destroy every altar and idols. Yet, repeatedly, it is exactly what they did, the opposite of the instruction. It is said that a human body is about 70% water. The water from which we were formed is the dark waters from which the Lord raised the earth. Which means that we’re about that much subjected to evil than we are to righteousness. Meaning that we truly cannot be righteous on our own. We need the Spirit of the Lord to help us every step of the way. This is the fourth thing we ought to learn. That it is the Holy Spirit of God that helps and intercede for us in our infirmities. We need the Holy Spirit, we cannot do it on our own. Therefore, we should strive to never grieve the Holy Spirit on a daily basis.

Acts 6:12 – 13. And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,  And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:

I truly would love to understand what had gotten to the church when they decided to murder Stephen. This is the same church we are told in the book of acts, that they were in one accord. Yet, the same church was able to murder one of their own purely because he spoke the truth, and he was not an Apostle. Stephen stood for the truth even when the church was coming against him in false witness. What they didn’t take into account was that he was full of the Holy Ghost and grace was upon him. At this point they should have known what happens to a person when full of grace and the Holy Ghost, but the ignored it. We cannot stand for truth if we lack boldness. It is the Holy Ghost that gives us such boldness. Which means that, in everything we do, we should be moved by the Holy Ghost for then, we have boldness and are perfect in speech to deliver whatever message the Lord wishes to deliver through us. There will of course be the opposers of such, but boldness by the Holy Ghost give us the necessary courage. We ought to pray for it always.

Canaan is the word of God, the inheritance of kings, our heritage. Abraham started it, Christ finished it and ours is to claim and hold on to it. It is with every treasure hidden in it and just needs to be searched out. Therefore, as we step into this Canaan, our inheritance, the land of milk and honey, may we remember these lessons to help us hold on to our heritage.

1) Trust in God always
2) Understand that He will remove some things or people permanently or for a season
3) Obedience and self control
4) To be fixed and grounded in the Lord
5) Grieve not the Holy Spirit
6) Stand for truth always in boldness by the Holy Ghost

Therefore, people of God, let us not be unwise in all our doings. Let us hold on to our heritage so we can see what the Lord has in plan for those who love Him.

enemy of progress

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. – Matthew 7:4-5

In the complex where I am there is such order, the kind that many people would be irritated by. Interesting part is that the president of the homeners association lives in a house opposite mine, and takes his role very seriously. I’ve had challenges with parking and have had to move my car on and off just to maintain the order. At first I felt so much hostility towards this guy, but a voice inside always said ‘be nice’. See, hostility depending on the measure in one’s heart can lead one to acting it out, and that leading to unnecessary drama. So I listened to the inner voice and became nice, never complained just did what was requested of me. One Saturday, I found myself thinking about this man. How good he is at what he does for the complex. People don’t want to be bothered in their households, they want to be left alone. But he has such patience that he doesn’t tire to do what needs to be done in the complex, to knock in people’s doors when necessary, and he does it with such politeness. I found myself applauding him for such finesse. Imagine, from hostility to admiration. Only God can do such!

It is at that point that the Holy Spirit whispered the topic scripture in my ear. I then realised that, people don’t really hate order, infact they can slide into it easily if need be. What they truly hate is to be told what to do. It takes a really spiritually mature and wise individual to submit to order without arguing even in their hearts, but instead see good in it. This is when I realised that rebellion is embedded in us, truly in our being. Not because we chose it, but because we inherited it.

When Jesus spoke of hypocrisy in us, always quick to see wrong in others or their actions purely because we don’t agree with them, they make us uncomfortable, the beam in one’s eyes seemed practical. However, the beam is the root of rebellion. We can never see clearly or apply good judgement for as long as the root of rebellion is still in us, whatever it is. Rebellion is the one that makes us right, because somehow being right is aligned with how we feel about something or someone. For as long as that something or someone gives us discomfort or makes us uneasy, they are wrong we are right and somehow we need to correct them.

1 Corinthians 14:40. Let all things be done decently and in order.

Order is such a beautiful thing. It makes life easier, enables progress and it comes from God. Yes, I agree that there are people who abuse this order when placed in charge of it. People that use it to oppress or manipulate others. However, that doesn’t change the fact that it is necessary to ensure progress and harmony. The bible tells us that the earth was formless and void, chaotic, and God said ‘let there be light’. From there He started arranging things into order. So, where there is order there is a huge influence of God, unless if there be oppression.

Proverbs 17:11. An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

I understand that humanity has experienced so much bad, such that the defensive attitude has become a shield for one to protect themselves. A defensive attitude is a sign of rebellion, righteousness seeks counsel. With rebellion one cannot accept correction instead they always see injustice.

When Israel started building the temple, the nations around Jerusalem started coming up with stories as to why the building of the temple should be stopped. When Nehemiah started with the wall, again it became a problem because when it was in ruins, they could do in Jerusalem as they pleased. The wall meant barricade. So they devised plans to stop the work. See, rebellion is that enemy of progress. The one that fights to ensure that an individual wrestles against God. Such that, even if the building of their faith is happening, it would be delayed and the process too long so one can give up on God. To be free of rebellion is an achievement of peace. Rebellion promotes hostility against God and mankind. It is unfortunate that we never consider ourselves to be rebellious in any way, until God brings it up in us to address it. Problem with this rebellion is that, it doesn’t just delay progress externally, but it does so even personally.

We have to come to a space of peace with being told what to do. For as long as that telling encourages a harmonious order and leads to progress in any way, it is good. We have to pray continually for every seed of rebellion to be uprooted in us so we can get to that place of peace. It is in this space that we can see clearly to remove the mote in another’s eyes.

God bless!

If a prophet or someone who has dreams arises among you and proclaims a sign or wonder to you, and that sign or wonder he has promised you comes about, but he says, ‘Let us follow other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us worship them,’ do not listen to that prophet’s words or to that dreamer. For the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul. You must follow the Lord your God and fear Him. You must keep His commands and listen to His voice; you must worship Him and remain faithful to Him.That prophet or dreamer must be put to death, because he has urged rebellion against the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the place of slavery, to turn you from the way the Lord your God has commanded you to walk. You must purge the evil from you.” – Deuteronomy 13

The scripture above clearly defines for us what a false prophet is and does. It is someone who dreams or speaks things and they come to pass. It is someone who performs signs and wonders in the eyes of the people. This person usually uses the name of Jesus, which makes people believe that they are doing works of Jesus, The Lord. The only difference with this person is that, s(he) influences his followers to worship other gods. This done so subtly that one may not even know they are being guided down the worship of false gods. This person would draw people away from Christ rather than bringing them closer, usually by depriving them of the word of God. They promote idolatry, be it through self or money reliance. A lot of these prophets are rising up in Africa, even more so in South Africa. Prophets that have been operating for a long time, but now are clearly revealing their true colours.

What do we do now as the children of God? I am sure I speak for a lot of others when I say it angers me to see the false prophets prosper in their shenanigans using the name of our Lord to service their evil agenda. A name pure and Holy being tainted for the benefit of evil.

Behold, I am sending you out as sheep amongst wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. – Matthew 10:16

For decades the five fold ministry has been equipping willing Christians with the word of God, to bring them to the knowledge of Christ. Perhaps, now time has come that we proclaim what Jesus our Lord is not, in order to get people to understand what He is. We have been preaching who He is and still people fail to believe because of the corrupted mindsets. However, these very mindsets encourage them to seek other spiritual avenues for help concerning their needs. It is very clear that, when an individual chooses to go to a church to get help, they are ready for Christ. They are the harvest that is plenty but they end up being victims. Therefore, awareness of what Christ is not has to be brought to the people, such that they may understand where not to go for help if they truly want a Christ’s kind of church. Things they have to lookout for at the church they find themselves attending. We have seen that it is easy to sell people a lie than truth. Donald Trump has been trying to get Americans to see truth, but they seem to be more enticed by the lies they have been and continue to be fed. What can we expect then with Truth.

But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die. – Deuteronomy 18:20

Unfortunately, in the world, people don’t consider that there are different gods and then there is God. We know that God is separated by Jesus Christ while all the other gods use whatever they use as a forefront, but most people don’t know that. However, when a wolf in a sheep’s skin preaches whatever god to people and here and there include the name of Jesus, they are tainting the name of our Lord. A name so Holy being used to serve evil agendas? Yet as the children of Abba we rest and are quiet through it all.

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. – Matthew 9:37

Sometimes the ears have to be cleaned for one to hear well. The eternal gospel of the kingdom is coming. The wine set to move the chosen to the arms of Christ. There are others who are chosen who have not even come to the knowledge of Christ yet, while time is running out. If the labourers are few, harvest plentiful, the few labourers have to be wise enough to cover the magnitude of the harvest. The Samaritan woman brought many to Christ, calling them to come and see a man who told her of the things she had done, and many knew what she had done but none dared speak about it to her face. Yet her weakness was the same element that drew people to Christ. Which means there has to be some sort of adaptation that needs to happen in our method of preaching Christ.

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. – Romans 16:17-18

but of the tree of the  knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. ~ Genesis 2:17~

Death is a thing so normal to humanity, such that we all understand that eventually we are going to die. Because of that understanding, our most efforts go to making sure that we live enough and we work hard enough to build a legacy for our children before we die. We have literally given up on any other possibility of life.

The scripture above tells us that, death was a penalty assigned to a certain type of a tree. This tree, a carrier of death is called ‘knowledge of good and evil’. We only come to a knowledge of something when it is brought to our attention. Adam and Eve only knew God and good. Which means they lacked the knowledge of evil. Which is what eating from the tree would bring to their attention, and it did. However, not only did it bring knowledge of evil, but also death. Not only did it bring this knowledge of evil and death to Adam, but to every human being that was in Adam’s loins. Therefore, with that simple act, all human race was subjected to evil and death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 6:23

This very knowledge of evil was passed on to us through sin. Sin is doing the opposite of what God says one should do. The opposite of what God says we should do is evil, and it’s price is death.

Yes, spiritually, death means transgression. However, physically, it means loss of life in the body. It means ending up in a grave and subsequently decaying.

for the life of all flesh is its blood. – Leviticus 17:14c

Death therefore refers to anything that destroys the blood. One can die through a huge loss of blood and other things that hinder the proper flow of blood throughout the body, or lack of nutrients and cells that build up the blood (sickness). Blood is what sustains a human life. So if you cannot kill a human with a sword or a bullet, you have to destroy the blood in the body, and that can be done through a disease.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ – Leviticus 17:11

Adam and Eve, before their rebellion had no need for sacrifice, no need for atonement. Their blood was pure and so there was life in them. However, their fall to sin and death meant that to live, sacrifice had to be offered for the atonement of sin because life is in the blood. Their blood could no longer qualify them life, but by the blood of animals that had no sin in them but life, they could buy life. So it became the case for all human race.

However, when Christ came, born not of Adam, but He Himself a second Adam, He brought a solution to the blood and death problem. The life in His blood became the life of all human race. This life we partake in it by drinking His blood. He not only gave us life in His blood but also eternal life through His flesh. The eternal life we partake in it by eating His flesh. It is His flesh that was resurrected and made to live, not by blood but by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, when we partake in Holy communion, we partake in the life given to us through Christ Jesus, physical and eternal. Even so, Paul warns us in 1 Cor 11:29-30 not to take Holy Communion in an unworthy manner, for even that will lead to us consuming death upon ourselves.

There are two ways that we can get sick, disease or demons. Disease comes through unhealthy living, contamination or contagion. We might not have much control concerning contamination or contagion, but we have lots of control over healthy living. Eating well balanced, right amount, and healthy meals means consuming sufficient nutrients for the blood to build up. Exercise means encouraging blood flow and the heart rate.  Demons on the other hand come and position themselves in whatever area in the body of the human being, causing the body to ill function. In this case one would need deliverance to get rid of that sickness. Demons come either by invitation or to attack the person. We might not have control over the attack but we have lots of control over the invitation element. We have been given the word of God, the bread of life to live by. This word helps us with sin while it feeds life unto us. We have already seen that sin attracts death, so, the word of God saves us from sin. It is therefore, the bread of life in that sense. David says in Psalm 119:11 , I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Therefore, our overall wellness is in healthy eating; exercise, enough water; doing the word of God and Holy Communion.

On the other hand, God is God and His ways are not our ways.  One can still follow all these principles and still get sick. One of the things I’ve learned this year is that, God can use a disease, especially the chronic ones to give a person time to repent and fix their ways before their set time of departure. While at the same time giving those around that person time to adjust. He can also use it to help one surrender their lives as a living sacrifice. Either way, the principles of overall wellness stand.

May we be wise enough to choose life always.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. ~2 Timothy 1:7~

Let’s discuss first this spirit that God has given us.

Jesus says to the disciples in John 16:7 – Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. Different versions refer to this Helper as Advocate; Comforter; Counselor; Redeemer and Holy Spirit. He also says that this Helper will teach them all things and bring them into remembrance of the things He has taught them. Also, this Helper will come in the name of Jesus, therefore He comes in and with the authority of Jesus Christ.

The name of Jesus is the power element of this Spirit. Scripture tells us that when Jesus started His ministry, demons were running from His presence. They were calling Him ”son of God”. They were leaving just as He would command them. When the Apostles started their ministry, they were preaching; healing; doing miracles and commanding demons in the name of Jesus. They were even threatened many times that they should not minister in the name of Jesus. So they could do in their names or no name but not in the name of Jesus. Jesus said, I have given you power, and this power is His name. His power as Jesus He transferred to His name. His name carries His authority and when anyone uses this name under the authority of Christ, that person is operating in Christ [in His authority]. This Spirit therefore gives the individual the power of Christ which is His name, His authority and manifests it through the nine gifts of the Spirit. Therefore you cannot have Jesus’s power [authority] outside of this Spirit

All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. – John 16:15

God by grace has given us so much but to summarise it all we can say He has given us salvation. That is the greatest gift to mankind because it literally represents eternal and abundant life. Salvation is mainly about the soul of mankind. The soul is where all the riches and wealth given to the human reside. A whole lot of people sell their souls without knowing what exactly they are selling. The governmental element of the human being, dominion on earth is placed in the soul. This also is where the throne of God sits in a person. This is from where God rules through a person. However, when this area is not occupied by God it is occupied by the enemy. Meaning that the enemy governs through a person from this space. Salvation therefore, means redemption of the soul from the power of the enemy. It means that the person is redeemed to operate in the original form rather than the perveted form. This is the ultimate gift of life. God could just let us be in our perveted state but He instead gave us a gift of love. Salvation is a gift of love. It is patient, kind, doesn’t keep record of evil. It is grace, the unwarranted favour. We receive this gift also through the Holy Spirit. The Helper helps us take back our soul from the enemy. He teaches us how to do that. Because this is usually a battle He gives us strength to stand; exhortation when we feel powerless or discouraged; counsel when we are confused; comfort when in pain; reproof when we are tempted and advocates [intercedes] for us when we need help. All this He does it with such gentleness and love. In a way that encourages us to be better. As we become better, He then through guidance by the Spirit teaches us how to give the same kind of love to others. Love makes us complete. Therefore, our completeness is represented by the redemption of our souls. When we are able to love as Christ loved us, which we can only do through the guidance of the Spirit, we have been saved. God is love and when God resides in our souls, Love resides in us.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment [torment]. The one who fears is not made perfect [complete] in love. – 1 John 4:18

Sound mind is manifested through our behaviour, spoken word and how we respond to others. A sound mind puts God first. Its entire aim is to glorify and represent God. It is about reflecting God in us. This is manifested through this Spirit by its fruits. It speaks a lot about self control because the sound mind gives you an ability to override your own desires and will with that of God. Meaning that it helps you decrease yourself to glorify God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering [patience], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. – Gal 5:22-23

In summary, Jesus has given us His authority [power – His name] which we manifest through the gifts of the Spirit. He has given us love through salvation of our souls. He  has given us a sound mind which is manifested through the fruits of the Spirit.  With this Spirit we are made perfect [complete] in Christ.

What does this say then about the Spirit of fear?

The Helper communicates with us in a form of a small still inner voice. When you walk in the Spirit you are well able to hear Him speak through this voice.

The Spirit of fear also speaks, but in a very loud and aggressive voice that sometimes sends urgent vibration [anxiety] to the body, either paralysing one or forcing them to act in a way opposite to what they truly desire. It speaks to discourage; manipulate; anger; tempt and to cause one to lose faith. It loudly speaks opposite of your intentions accompanied by the negative energy carrying it’s intention. One hears this voice as though it is their own thoughts.

The only way to conquer this Spirit is by fighting back using the word of God. David says in Psalm 119, I have hidden your word in my heart that I may not sin against you. Fear causes one to doubt themselves and by so doing doubt what the Lord is saying about them. Embracing it is like saying God is a liar. When you have the word of God in you it becomes your weapon to speak against this voice of the enemy. David continues to say, with my lips I have declared all the judgements of your mouth. So when we speak the word against this voice we are declaring the judgements of God while confessing what He says about us.

Let us approach the throne of grace with boldness children of God. Ours is not to chase after all things unnecessary, but to love and trust God. It is to obey and do His word. In all things, His word is our weapon. It is what gives us confidence to stand and push through even when fear is screaming loud at us. With His word, we are able to move forth with whatever strength we have.

God bless!
