Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. Pishon represents a full flow of Spiritual intelligence and light into man’s consciousness producing divine ideas. This flow encompasses the whole space of effort or travail to manifest the spiritual ideas. The space of effort or travail [thinking] carries the spiritual treasures necessary for manifestation of ideas.
The Pishon element of our conscious mind requires that we nature and nourish the mind. Ours is only to keep the mind healthy and alive, so that when the Holy Spirit charges it, the spiritual intelligence is able to flow out, producing ideas and intellect unexplainable to man.
Whatever we do for our mind, we do through our bodies and because of that, what benefits the mind also benefits the brain. Exercise, meditation and the food that we eat play a major role in nourishing the mind. It has also been said that iron plays a huge role in the well-being of our minds. Therefore, greens; nuts and bananas are foods that we are championing for the health of the mind to keep our Pishon in a continuous flow of intelligence that can be converted to gold.
We have tried out a smoothie that combines all of these (amended a little), thanks to Robyn Conley of realfoodwholelife.com, it is delicious. This recipe can be used either for breakfast, lunch or if one feels like a really light dinner.
- 1/3 cup cashew nuts (or any other nuts)
- 2 * Bananas
- 1 * cup baby spinach (kale, lettuce or broccoli)
- 2* tablespoons of oats (cooked)
- 1 * cup of almond or soya milk (depending on the thickness you prefer)
- 1 * tablespoon of cinnamon (or honey) – optional
Pour nuts, oats, bananas and spinach in the blender. Once smooth, add milk and cinnamon
Refrigerate for 15 – 30 minutes to serve it cool.
